About Us
Birchington CE Primary School PTA is a supportive team of parents, carers and volunteers who work hard to:
- help raise money to support the children's learning at Birchington CE Primary School
- organise fun events and activities for the children and parents alike
All of the money raised by the PTA is used for the benefit of our children.
How can you help?
- Come and join us on the Committee
- Help at an event
- Do you have a 'useful' skill (face painting, crafts, cooking, etc)?
- Can your company donate a raffle prize?
- Can you sponsor an event/support with printing?
- Come along and support at one, or more, of our events
PTA Pirate Party for Years 1 and 2
Year 1 and 2 were so lucky to have been visited by Gem from CBeebies Swashbuckle at their PTA Pirate Party this afternoon. There was so much laughter and enjoyment coming from the hall. A huge thank you to Gem and all our PTA organisers who raised over £200 to put towards projects at school. This, along with our non-uniform day yesterday, which raised £350 will really make a difference to the improvements the children and staff would like to see happening around the school.
Clothes Bin
The PTA recently organised for a clothes recycling bin outside of Noah's Ark to accept donations of unwanted clothing. This is already proving very popular and will be an ongoing feature at the school for future donations - this should also prove to be a good source of additional monies that will be in itself recycled back into the school.
This will be regularly emptied so that we have the capacity to accept new donations going forward.
