Before and after school provision
We currently open our doors to children every morning at 8.15am. Pupils from across the school are able to come into class half an hour before registers open to see their friends and take part in a range of exciting activities so they feel safe and settled and ready for learning at 8.50am. This is entirely free for our Birchington parents. Please note that from September 2025, this will be at the slightly later time of 8.30am when teaching will start.
In April 2025, we opened our very own Birchington Breakfast Club and, in September 2025, will be running an After School Club, too. If you would like to make use of these clubs, please contact the school office to book a place or find out more details.
If you’re looking for something after school, we also run a variety of after school clubs for children run by our teachers or TSC coaches (Total Sports Coaching). The link to our clubs page can be found here: https://www.birchington-primary.com/school-clubs/
Our fabulous Chair of Governors, Loraine Bant, and her team of volunteers from All Saints Church, Birchington also provide for our Birchington families a fantastic Supper Club in the winter months and once a month over the summer period.
