Our School Council is up and running and all our School Council reps are eager and raring to go! School Council is made up of two children from each class between Year 1 all the way up to Year 6. Each class votes for a main representative and a vice representative and throughout the year, School Council will meet every other week to hold a meeting. During our meetings the School Council reps have the opportunity to feedback on any events that may have happened in school that we have been a part of organising or any events and projects that we are currently working on, or are in the process of planning. The purpose of School Council is to discuss any issues and new ideas whilst working alongside the Headteacher, pupils and staff.

Last term we introduced ourselves to one another and spoke about our roles and responsibilities as School Council reps within the school. We had the opportunity to share an interesting fact about ourselves as a way of getting to know one another. We are an enthusiastic group who are keen to do some great work within our school.

This term we are looking ahead to Christmas and discussing, how as a school, we can support different charities. We are also going to be spending some time discussing the ideas from our pupil voice books.
